Who is behind yogatime
I’m Arun. For years I did well by most outside measures. Inside, something was missing, and I went looking for it.
Three things I kept getting wrong
Consistency
I started well and drifted. Small things, done daily, never stuck.
Alignment
What I did on the outside often didn’t match who I was on the inside.
Time
I spent it as if there would always be more.
yogatime grew out of working on those three, one day at a time.
Yoga means union: who you are, and what you do, becoming one.
Here it is more than the mat. It is how you keep a promise to yourself, how you eat and rest, how you spend an hour. That is all we mean by conscious living.
No one is only a body, or only a mind
Most of us need care from more than one direction: movement and breath, food and rest, a calmer mind, and something to live for.
I don’t teach any of these myself. I’ve needed most of them, and rarely found them in one place.
So yogatime brings practitioners from six paths together. Each goes deep in their own specialty. Together they complement each other, refer to each other and teach together, so the people who come here are cared for as a whole. We are gathering our founding practitioners now.
