What is seen has the qualities of light, activity and stability; it is made of the elements and the senses; and it exists for experience and for freedom.

Yoga Sutras 2.18 · verse 69 of 196

Unfolding the thread

The whole seen world (nature, body, mind) is woven from three qualities: clarity, activity and inertia. And it has two purposes: to be experienced, and, through that experience, to set us free. The world isn't an obstacle to the spiritual life. It's the classroom.

Try today

Notice today when you feel clear, when restless and when heavy. All three are nature moving through you.
