Autumn
The quiet hour (Brahma Muhurta) is the traditional time for practice, just before sunrise.

Or by focusing on a mind that has gone beyond craving.
Yoga Sutras 1.37 · verse 37 of 196
Unfolding the thread
We become like what we contemplate. Patanjali suggests resting your mind on someone who is free of craving: a saint, a teacher, or anyone whose calm you admire. Holding their example in mind is itself a practice. Something of their steadiness rubs off.
Try today
Think of someone whose calm you admire. When you're pulled by wanting today, ask: how would they hold this?
The Echo
The same truth, heard in another tradition
“There is no suffering for him who has finished his journey, and abandoned grief, who has freed himself on all sides, and thrown off all fetters.”
